Let AI agents pay you. Or give yours a budget.
AI agents are starting to buy things on their own: a lookup, a report, a few seconds of an AI tool. AgentPay lets them pay you in XRP, straight to your wallet, a few cents at a time. Or give your own agent a wallet and spending limits so it can buy what it needs and nothing more.
Two wizards. About a minute each.
No code to start. Answer a few plain questions and TapCoin Pay sets up the rest. These are the real screens from your dashboard.
Sell to AI agents
Name what you sell, set a price in dollars, pick your wallet. You get a paid link any agent can use, and a button that tests it the way an agent would.
Set up your own agent
Give your agent its own small wallet, spending limits in dollars, and the sellers it may pay. It asks TapCoin Pay before every payment, so the limits actually hold.
Agents can find you on their own.
Everything you list goes into the AgentPay directory: one public web address any agent can search by words or by kind of thing. No app store, no sign-up, no handshake with you.
- Search by words.
tapcoinpay.com/api/v1/agentpay/catalog?q=permit - Or by kind: data, AI tools, content, other tools.
- Each result is ready to buy: the price, the seller and the paid link come back together.
- Your choice. Leave a listing out of the directory and share its link privately instead.
Example search. Real results are whatever sellers have listed.
Simple on the outside. Careful underneath.
Paid straight to your wallet
The agent pays your address directly on the XRP Ledger. TapCoin Pay never holds the money, a wallet secret or a key.
Limits that actually hold
Your agent checks with TapCoin Pay before it signs anything. Over the per-payment, daily or monthly limit, or to a seller you did not pick, and the payment is refused.
Test before you share
One tap calls your paid link the way an agent would and tells you, in plain words, what an agent will be asked to pay.
Paid once, delivered once
A replayed payment returns the original answer, never a second charge. Underpaying by a fraction is declined, and nothing is released before the ledger confirms.
Receipts for every call
Each paid call shows in your dashboard with its ledger transaction, so you can check any of them on the public XRP Ledger.
Honest fees
You get your full price. The $0.01 service fee is paid by the agent, shown as its own line, and never taken out of your money.
Proven on the real ledger. On 23 September 2026 an autonomous agent paid a TapCoin Pay link with real XRP on the public mainnet and received its data. Read the transaction yourself: ABEE9257…F26D on the XRP Ledger explorer
The agent pays the fee. You keep your price.
Selling to agents is part of the Business plan: $59.99 a month or $599.90 a year. Every paid call costs the agent $0.01 on top of your price. No per-call charge to you and no call limit on any plan. Setting up your own agent to buy is free on every plan.
Sell on Business
As many paid links as you like, receipts, signed webhooks and the full API. Your price lands in your wallet in about four seconds.
Agents without an account: $0.01 in the price
When all we know is a wallet, the price request shows your price plus a $0.01 fee as its own line, paid together in one payment to your wallet.
Agents you set up: prepaid credits
Buy a credit pack by card ($10, $25 or $100) and the $0.01 comes out of credits instead. The first 100 calls a month are free, plus a $1 welcome credit.
For developers: how a paid call works
AgentPay speaks x402, the open standard for paying over HTTP, on the XRP Ledger. No accounts or API keys: the payment is part of the request.
The agent asks
It calls your paid link the ordinary way.
The link answers 402
HTTP 402 Payment Required, with the amount, your address and a payment id in a body a machine can read.
The agent pays
It signs an XRP Ledger payment from its own wallet and calls again with the proof.
Checked twice
The x402 facilitator verifies the signature, then AgentPay reads the ledger itself and requires a matching, validated transaction.
The answer ships
Released exactly once, with a receipt and a signed webhook.
# An agent asks for a paid resource $ curl -i https://tapcoinpay.com/api/v1/agentpay/gate/ares_demo HTTP/1.1 402 Payment Required x402-version: 2 { "accepts": [{ "scheme": "exact", "network": "xrpl:0", "amount": "1000", "asset": "XRP", "payTo": "rQUw5aq...", "extra": { "invoiceId": "apay_...", "sourceTag": 7777 } }] } # It pays, then calls again with the proof $ curl -H "PAYMENT-SIGNATURE: <signed>" \ https://tapcoinpay.com/api/v1/agentpay/gate/ares_demo HTTP/1.1 200 OK
1. Get the agent program
mkdir my-agent && cd my-agent npm init -y && npm install xrpl curl -o pay.mjs https://tapcoinpay.com/downloads/agentpay-client.mjs
One small file you can read in a sitting. Needs Node 18 or newer.
2. Give it a wallet
node pay.mjs --new-wallet
A throwaway wallet that only holds the agent's budget. Fund it with a few XRP; 1 XRP stays locked as the ledger's account reserve. The secret is printed in your terminal and nowhere else.
3. Let it shop
export AGENTPAY_KEY=agk_your_key export AGENTPAY_SEARCH="permit lookup" export XRPL_SEED="the-agent-wallet-secret" export ALLOW_MAINNET=1 node pay.mjs
It searches the directory, checks your limits with TapCoin Pay, pays and prints the answer. DRY_RUN=1 walks through it without paying.
The secret never leaves your computer. The program reads it locally, signs one payment to one address, and sends back only that single-use authorization. Never paste a wallet secret into a website, a chat or an AI, including this one.
