XRP Circles brings the sou-sou to the XRP Ledger. Your group picks a dollar amount, like $50 or $100, and a schedule. Each round, everyone puts in that much in XRP, and the pot goes to the next person in line. Contributions lock on the ledger, not with us.

How it works

Four steps, every one signed from your own wallet.

Set up the circle

The organizer picks the dollar amount, how often you pay, the payout order and the late-payment rule.

Invite your people

Share a private invite link. Everyone joins with their own Xaman wallet and accepts the terms before anything starts.

Everyone contributes

Each round, every other member taps once in Xaman to lock their share in an XRP Ledger escrow addressed to that round's recipient.

The pot pays out

On the payout date the recipient collects every share in one tap, straight to their wallet. Then the next member is up.

Example

10 people. $100 a month. $1,000 each turn.

Ten members each put in $100 a month. Each month one member collects $1,000: $900 from the other nine, plus the $100 they keep instead of paying in that month. After ten months everyone has had their turn, and the group can start again.

The organizer's rules

Every circle runs on rules the group agrees to up front.

Missed payments

The organizer chooses: send reminders and chase it, hold their payout on the circle page until they catch up, or move them to the end of the line. Security deposits come later.

Set in dollars, paid in XRP

Everyone agrees on a dollar amount. Each round you pay that amount in XRP at that moment's price, so nobody has to do the math.

Price moves, both ways

Once XRP is locked for the round, its dollar value can go up or down before payout. That is the members' risk, and every member sees it before joining.

Reminders

Members get an email when each round opens and if they fall behind, and everyone can see how many have paid in.

Every contribution and payout is on the public XRP Ledger and on each member's private circle page.

Always recoverable

If our site is ever down, members can still release or recover their escrows with their own wallets.

Plain terms. TapCoin Pay is not a bank, money transmitter or escrow agent and never holds circle money. Contributions go from each member's own wallet into escrows on the blockchain addressed to the round's recipient, under terms every member accepts. TapCoin Pay cannot move, redirect or seize them. Circles do not earn interest. If a circle uses a coin like XRP, its dollar value can go up or down while it is locked, and that is the members' risk. Future contributions are not guaranteed; a member who does not pay is handled by the rules the organizer set.
