Questions about paying for TapCoin Pay.
Is there really no per-transaction fee?
Correct. TapCoin Pay charges a subscription and nothing else. We cannot take a cut of a payment because the payment never passes through us. The only other cost is the network fee the sender pays to the blockchain, which exists on every provider.
How do I pay for my subscription?
By card, through Stripe. You can also pay your subscription in crypto to a TapCoin Pay address, using our own checkout. Annual plans get two months free.
What counts as a payment on the free tier?
A confirmed payment. Expired or abandoned checkouts do not count. When you reach 20 in a calendar month, new checkouts keep working but show a small TapCoin Pay notice and you get an email asking you to upgrade.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from the billing page and your plan runs until the end of the period you already paid for. Your payment history and wallets stay in your account on the free tier.
Do you offer refunds?
If TapCoin Pay is not working for you in the first 14 days of a paid plan, email support and we will refund the charge in full.
Do I need a paid plan to use the WooCommerce plugin or the API?
Yes, both are Pro features. You can install the plugin and create test-mode API keys on the free tier to build your integration, and upgrade when you are ready to go live.
Is there a nonprofit or open-source discount?
Registered nonprofits and open-source projects get Pro at half price. Email hello@tapcoinpay.com with a link to your organization.
