Connect in one click

Use TapCoin Pay from Claude or ChatGPT

Paste one URL, sign in, approve. Then ask your assistant to make a payment link, send an invoice, check who paid or start an XRP Circle. No API key to copy. You can disconnect it any time from your dashboard.

Server URL

https://tapcoinpay.com/mcp

Claude (claude.ai and Claude Desktop)

  1. Open Customize, Connectors. In Claude Desktop it is under Settings, Connectors.
  2. Click Add custom connector.
  3. Name it TapCoin Pay and paste https://tapcoinpay.com/mcp. Leave the OAuth client fields empty.
  4. Click Add, then Connect. Sign in to TapCoin Pay and click Allow.
  5. In a chat, turn TapCoin Pay on under the tools menu and ask away.

If you skip Connect, the first business request shows a Connect button right in the chat. Public things like the AgentPay directory and live prices work without signing in.

ChatGPT

  1. Open Settings, Connectors. Turn on Developer mode under Advanced if you do not see Create.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Name it TapCoin Pay, paste https://tapcoinpay.com/mcp and choose OAuth. No client id or secret is needed.
  4. Click Create, sign in to TapCoin Pay when asked and click Allow.
  5. In a chat, add TapCoin Pay from the tools menu.

Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP apps

claude mcp add --transport http tapcoinpay https://tapcoinpay.com/mcp

Then run /mcp in Claude Code and pick tapcoinpay to sign in. Any app that supports MCP sign-in works the same way with the URL alone. Apps that do not can still send an API key: Authorization: Bearer tcp_live_.... See the developer docs.

What you are approving

AccessWhat the assistant can do
readSee your business profile, payments, payment links, invoices, checkouts, XRP Circles, escrows and AgentPay listings.
writeCreate payment links, invoices and checkouts, open XRP Circles and deal escrows, list things for sale to AI agents.

No tool moves money, holds keys or signs anything. A signed-in app can create payment requests, links, invoices, escrows and listings that pay into your own wallets, and read your payments; it cannot point money at any other address, change your wallets or create API keys. Payments always go wallet to wallet, and the payer signs in their own wallet. Starting a Circle cannot be undone, so assistants are told to ask you first. Connected apps are listed under Developers in your dashboard, where one click disconnects them.

For developers

The server follows the MCP authorization spec (OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, dynamic client registration, RFC 8707 resource binding). Discovery documents: /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp and /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server. Access tokens last an hour and refresh tokens rotate. Register at POST /oauth/register; redirect URIs must be https, or http on localhost / 127.0.0.1 for native apps.
